Jesus Feels The Leper
“A leper draws near and approaches Jesus in the thick of the crowd.”
How dare he!
Lepers, according to the Old Testament, must yell out, “Unclean! Unclean!”
And according to the Oral Law of the Pharisees, a leper must stand 100 feet away.
Instead, the leper worships Jesus, and says,
“Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.”
Right thinking.
The leper doesn’t say, “If you request it of God,” nor, “If you pray.”
But, “if you will,” affording all authority to Jesus.
The voice of that authority says, “I will.”
Then, oh the scandal!
Jesus places His hands on the leper’s face, feels the leprosy without cringing, and straightaway, the leper is healed.
This would make Jesus “unclean”—as the Mosaic Law decrees—and cast Him into quarantine.
Instead, it affirms the Messiahship of Jesus.
That Messiah would “heal our diseases,” as David wrote, and “bear our sicknesses,” as Isaiah predicted.
‘Command’ and ‘touch’ healed the leper’s disease.
The omnipotent word commanding, the human hands feeling.
Thus displaying divine unity and human affinity of the true Jewish Messiah, Who wills and acts in two natures for our salvation.
“Go, show yourself to the priest,” Jesus urges the leper, “and offer the gift that Moses commanded for a testimony to them.”
Do we not see that after Jesus rose from the dead a great company of priests believing in Him?
And why, when all the Pharisees displace Him, so many priests embrace Him?
For after so many years since the time of Elisha the prophet, not a single leper was healed.
Now with this leper healed, the priests had to dig through the books to find the ceremonial procedures that pronounce the unclean, “Clean!”
‘Who did this?’ they ask.
‘Jesus’, remarks the former leper, and belief is sparked.
Contrasted with Elisha, who shunned to touch the leprosy of Naaman—sending him to the Jordan instead—Jesus as Jewish Messiah needs not hesitate.
He feels the leper’s face, and commands the cleansing.
Word of God effecting, with human hands touching.
Life-giving essence reviving, with life-imparting flesh transforming.
Declaring to all, Messiah is Come!

THE LYING PROPHETS AND THE JEWS
In Chapter 11 it says the flock detested me, so I said “If you think it best, give me my pay; but if not, keep it.”
So, they paid him the handsome price of 30 pieces of silver, and threw them to the potter at the house of the lord.
All covenants were broken.
This is what happened in Matthew 27.
In Chapter 12, tells of when Jesus returns (Rev. 11:15), in Rev 11:18, and the nations were angry, God’s wrath has come, and it’ll be a time of destroying those who destroy the earth, and corrupt God’s order.
The nations will come against God’s kingdom in this world, and will be destroyed in the battle of Armageddon.
Chapter 13, tells of a time after the nations are subdued, and of the lying prophets, that now exist in almost every church in America, and on media. They tell the fable of the Jews as the chosen people, and the apple of God’s eye. They say God will keep the Jews, and in the end times they’ll be raised above all the nations, and protect them.
But the truth is, God will destroy the Jews, the children of Satan, the corruptors of God’s order.
In the days after, all the lying prophets and ministers will in shame deny that they were Satan’s stooges, and that they spread lies in the name of the lord. The people will have nothing but contempt for these liars.
Zachariah 13:
2 “On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land, and they will be remembered no more,” declares the LORD Almighty. “I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land. 3 And if anyone still prophesies, their father and mother, to whom they were born, will say to them, ‘You must die, because you have told lies in the LORD’s name.’ Then their own parents will stab the one who prophesies.
4 On that day every prophet will be ashamed of their prophetic vision. They will not put on a prophet’s garment of hair in order to deceive. 5 Each will say, ‘I am not a prophet. I am a farmer; the land has been my livelihood since my youth.’ 6 If someone asks, ‘What are these wounds on your body?’ they will answer, ‘The wounds I was given at the house of my friends.’

I was told a year ago by my sister that our parents were Jews and, yes, my eyes were opened to the many things hiding in plane sight of my youth. They hid it from us but also dismissed the Protestants. Except the Mennonites, but my grandmother wouldn’t let me belong to them. She had a draw full of rosaries, she kissed the Sacred Heart each night. So, I have been a practicing Catholic for 20 years now, at age 72. Yes, like her, I am Catholic, but also I am a Jewish woman. Do you think the true Church will reach out to our brothers and sisters Jews and become one with them again? Do you think Rabbi Yeshua was a Pharisee?
